Robyn Korengold founded Korengold Executive Search, Inc. (KES) in 1993 in Manhattan Beach, California.

With a history of successful placements and repeat business, KES’s portfolio of searches is ever-changing and covers a broad spectrum of opportunities within private equity firms, family offices, and their high growth portfolio companies.

Previously, Robyn built a successful search practice partnering with private equity firms focused on multisite healthcare services investments, placing leaders who drove organic growth, expansion through acquisitions, and successful exits.

Prior, she built a high-technology search practice serving clients from pre-IPO startups to Fortune 500 companies, executing complex searches across executive management, operations, engineering, and marketing.

Before founding KES, Robyn was an executive recruiter for a large national search firm where she was hired to spearhead the development of a new environmental engineering practice within the Los Angeles office.  She successfully initiated, implemented, and grew this practice until it ultimately became the office specialty.

Robyn is a 1986 graduate of the University of Massachusetts in Amherst where she received a B.A. in Journalism / Legal Studies.   Robyn studied in Paris, France, with an academic concentration on the European Economic Community.  She is a native of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
